3. Encourage open communication. Encouraging communication provides all parties with the opportunity to be honest with each other. Your Virtual Assistant needs to feel comfortable asking questions or seeking clarification with tasks when they aren’t 100% sure.
4. Use collaboration tools appropriately. By using collaboration tools such as Slack, Trello or Asana allows all parties to access the progress of tasks and share documents easily without clogging inboxes and information going out of date quickly.
5. Provide feedback regularly. Providing constructive feedback regularly to acknowledge good work and provide guidance or tips on areas for improvement demonstrates you are working together, which creates a better relationship.
